Attorney

Cavyn D. Sanders

Cavyn D. Sanders

is a Texas licensed attorney who maintains a general litigation practice with an emphasis on business disputes, labor and employment disputes, complex commercial litigation, trust and fiduciary litigation, and probate litigation. Likewise, Cavyn routinely assists plaintiffs and defendants alike in matters involving shareholder oppression, asset purchase agreements, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Cavyn takes a pragmatic approach to legal matters; he believes this approach often leads to favorable results for his clients without necessarily requiring them to expend large sums on legal fees. Cavyn has utilized this approach for the benefit of his clients in a wide range of matters, including: negotiations and the acquisition of 125,000+ acres of mineral assets in the Eagle Ford Shale, valued in excess of $100,000,000 on behalf of a local oil and gas company, litigation against some of the state’s most prestigious medical facilities in cases seeking over $10,000,000.00, and settling probate matters seeking $1,000,000.00 or more.
Cavyn believes it is his duty to serve the less fortunate. As such, Cavyn has devoted well over 100 hours in pro bono services to those who otherwise couldn’t afford competent legal assistance. He frequently serves the homeless and destitute at various soup kitchens throughout the city and lends a helping hand to inner city schools undergoing beautification projects.
Cavyn is also licensed to practice in the Southern District of Texas. He received his B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Biology from Austin College in Sherman, TX and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center
